Since 2003, Younes Shakib has started its activities in importing gas from different countries into Afghanistan. Since its inception, the company has focused on the import and export of liquid gas, which today covers more than 60 percent of its activities. The company purchases Gas from countries such as Turkmenistan and imports it into Afghanistan via Torghundi port.
Younes Shakib Company has the capacity to store 500 tons of liquid gas at the same time, which the imported gas is stored at the company’s facilities and then loaded and distributed to other provinces by tankers. The company intends to upgrade the capacity of its existing Gas tankers in the future and set up new facilities in all provinces of Afghanistan.
